Frequently asked question

Hopefully you will find the answer to all your Tour questions in the categories shown below. If not please feel free to contact us, we’ll be more than happy to answer any questions over the phone or by email.

Our getting here page has additional information on getting to Oban and what to bring for the our boat tours.

Booking a tour

You can book a tour as far in advance as you want. Tours usually run between April to October, the calendar displayed on the tour detail pages shows available tour dates – some tours only run on specific days, whereas others run 7 days a week. Please also look at the “Departure times” tabs which gives further details on departure and return times for specific tours – times over the weekends can sometimes be different from weekdays due to ferry timetables.

We recommend that you book tickets in advance to ensure your place and avoid disappointment, but tickets are available to buy on the boats subject to availability.

There is no charge for children under 5yrs.

1. In the event that we cancel a trip due to poor weather or insufficient numbers we will provide a full refund.
2. In the event that you wish to cancel your booking we will issue a refund if we receive more than 48 hours notice. If you give us less than 24 hours notice we reserve the right not to refund unless we are able to re-sell your seats.

4. If cancellations due to Covid 19 affect the economic viability of our tour we reserve the right to re-arrange a tour departure time / date or cancel – if we cancel then a full refund will be issued.

5. In event of a tour cancellation, you will be contacted by email and text message to offer an alternative or a refund. Please make sure we have an up to date email and contact number for you.
